Banks, Vail and Hollander Mural Work

 Below are houses done by Ms Banks classroom

 These houses are by Ms. Vail's class.  I remember Briannah did the yellow one

 Alexandria is the Purple one, Orange one of Bria's...

 The striped house is Tyeana, the rest I forget, help me out!! I should have posted these right away.

2012 Art Show

It is always hard to choose which art to display because I love it all.  This year I put up over 500 works of art because I was given the time to do it!

Some of the projects I never got a chance to post on the blog, like the Zentangle by Ellusion and the Jamaican dancer by Shocquell below.

Walls leading up to the auditorium also had some artwork, there was lots to go around!

Snowman Portraits

3rd and 5th graders did CLOSE-UP portraits of snowmen.  I asked them to give their snowmen emotion and some students even added a story plot!  Making me proud as usual :)

Shocquell's snowmen has a very mischievous look!

Alex's snowman is Angry, Titiana's is blowing cold breathe. 

Bianca's snowman is sad because he was bullied.

Tyeana was the only student to have her snowman lying down!  He even has an igloo on his belly!

Pastel Sand Dollars

The 4th and 5th graders practiced using pastels while making their Sand Dollar Designs. Some students had never heard of Sand Dollars, so first we "Google Imaged" Sand Dollars. I told them about how they are in the same family with star fish. Can you see why that might be so?

I still need to take more pictures of their Pastel Sand Dollars because they all did an awesome job.

African Safari

Did you know that the giraffes that live in Africa are the tallest land living animal? The 1st and 2nd graders designed the giraffes and the 3rd graders designed the pretty map of Africa.
